Antique TINA BOX "svepask" - own. marks 1869 Sweden

A wonderful unpainted TINA BOX with owner marks both underneath and on the lid. It is made by the overlaped "svepask" technique and is dated 1869. Size: 7 inches long, 3.4 inches wide and 2.6 inches high. Originally lid and bottom were fastened with wooden tacks around. During the years and a long time ago almost everyone have been replaced by iron tacks. The rusted iron tacks are adding charm to this old box. Very good condition for its age with a lovely patina.
