Swedish stunning small BIRCH BARK Box – Hjort Anders RARE

A stunning small birch bark box with carved and painted ornaments. Lid and bottom made of wood. Not dated but from early 1900s. Underneath text ” Tillverkad av Hjort Anders Olsson fran Dalarna” (Made by Hjort Anders Olsson from Dalarna). Size: 4 inches across at base and 3 inches high. Very good condition with nice patina but the painted leather opener has lost some paints. A most rare item for your collection.
